Roberto Burle Marx (1909-1994) was a Brazilian Landscape Architect, printer maker, ecologist, painter, naturalist, artist and musician. He was well known for his Landscape designs. It was Marx who introduced Modernist Landscape Architecture to Brazil. His career began with a private garden design for a house designed by Architects Lucio Costa and Gregory Warchavchik in 1932. His continued to develop his work developed, making constant improvements and leaps forward.
Aside from the first image, I have chosen ones an inspiration for my design project where I am looking at unique ways to cut and patch grass together.
